Personal Data Processing Principles of INGTECH, s.r.o.
The purpose of this document is to inform you about how our company handles your personal data and what your rights are in relation to the personal data we process about you.
1. What is personal data?
Any information about an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as the “data subject”), i.e., any data that can directly or indirectly identify a natural person.
2. What is personal data processing?
Any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, including automated means, such as collection, recording, arrangement, storage, alteration, retrieval, use, dissemination or disclosure, as well as restriction, erasure, or destruction.
3. For what purpose is my personal data processed, and what data does it concern?
We process your personal data only for the following purposes:
- fulfillment of the contract you have entered into with us, primarily the provision of ordered services including support services
- compliance with our legal obligations
- our legitimate interests (e.g., enforcing our contractual claims, sending information about our services – direct marketing, etc.).
With respect to these purposes, we process only the data you provide in the contract (order) with us or data we obtain during the contract execution, specifically:
- name and surname, or company ID and VAT ID for entrepreneurs
- residence, delivery address, or registered office and billing address for entrepreneurs
- email address and phone number
- information about the services and the extent to which you use them.
Processing your personal data for the fulfillment of the contract is a necessary requirement for entering into the contract and for us to fulfill it. Our company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security corresponding to all possible risks; all individuals handling clients’ personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality about the information obtained in connection with data processing.
All personal data we process is handled by our staff only within the territory of the Czech Republic.
4. Do you need my consent to process the data?
Currently, no – we process your personal data only under legal regimes that do not require explicit consent.
5. What is direct marketing?
Direct marketing refers to the possibility of contacting our customers with offers of similar goods and services to those they already use (typically offers of new services or products, news announcements, special pricing, etc.).
Such contact may occur via email or phone if you provided such contact details during your previous order of goods or services.
You always have the option to easily and freely unsubscribe from receiving such offers.
6. Who is the controller and who has access to my personal data?
The controller is the one who not only processes your personal data but also determines the purpose and means of processing.
We, INGTECH, s.r.o., with our registered office at Třídvorská 1506, 280 02 Kolín, are the controller of your personal data. No third party has access to your data except for the manufacturers of the products we distribute (as listed on our website), and in cases where there is a legal obligation.
7. How long do you process my personal data?
We store your personal data for the duration of the contract you have entered into with us, or for the duration of the warranty on the products or services you purchased from us.
After the contractual relationship ends, we continue to store the data if we are legally obliged to do so (currently this may be up to 10 years).
Another reason for retaining personal data after the contract ends is the enforcement of our claims that may still be valid (e.g., records and recovery of outstanding amounts).
